Xanthus Farm is a full-service facility for Thoroughbred horses -- offering stud service, breeding, boarding, foaling and raising, sales preparation, trailering and transportation, layups, and agent services. About 70 foals are born at the farm each year. In addition, during the breeding season, we transport local mares to and from Kentucky.

Xanthus Farm is one of Pennsylvania's leading commercial Thoroughbred stallion establishments. Choose among several stallions, all representing popular bloodlines, currently standing at the farm. See our Stallion Roster below.

In addition to breeding services, we offer an outstanding selection of Thoroughbred weanling fillies, weanling colts, yearling fillies, yearling colts, two-year-olds, racing age, broodmares, stallions and sport horses for sale.

Grade I Millionaire Fabulous Strike
Xanthus Farm is the birthplace of Pennsylvania bred Grade I Millionaire Fabulous Strike, a 6-year-old Smart Strike gelding out of Fabulous Find by Lost Code. Fabulous Strike is owned by Walter Downey's Tea Party Stable.

2009 Rare Pure White Color -- Jockey Club Registered Thoroughbred Colt
Banachek, a very correct and pure white Thoroughbred colt by The White Fox out of Barbara's Song, by Runaway Groom, was foaled at Xanthus in 2009. Already a winner, he took the 2009 Junior Champion, Thoroughbred Division, at the Maryland State Fair. Looking for investors to race and/or promote a stallion.
